Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots surprised me a little. On the surface it's a reel-spinning casual game, but what kept me coming back was the collection side — each theme unlocks new symbol sets and little animated characters, and lining them up triggers short, satisfying sequences. It's the kind of game you poke at while waiting for a kettle to boil.
Controls are about as simple as it gets: one big tap to spin, swipe to switch between the different themed boards. That simplicity is a strength here. I could play one-handed on the bus without fumbling, and the interface never buried the useful stuff under menus. There's a gentle progression track that hands you new boards and visual themes as you keep playing, which gives the sessions a point beyond the spin itself.
Battery-wise it's friendly. The animations are flashy but short, so my phone stayed cool through a long sitting and the drain was modest. If you turn the music off in settings it gets even lighter. It won't change your life, but as a low-pressure game to dip into, it does its job well.
