About
OakForge Play started as a group chat where a few friends kept arguing about which games were worth the storage space. At some point we figured we should just write it all down properly, so here we are.
We are a small independent team. Nobody here answers to a publisher, and we buy or download the games ourselves like anyone else. When something is a free download, we say so; when a game asks for patience, we say that too.,Picking what to cover is simple: we chase the things people around us are actually installing. Sometimes that's a huge release, sometimes it's a weird little puzzle game a reader emailed us about. We try to mix genres so the catalog doesn't turn into six versions of the same idea.,Every review here comes from someone who put real hours into the game. We note the phone model, roughly how warm it ran, and whether the touch controls held up during a long session. If a game disappointed us, we'd rather explain why than pretend it didn't.
