Hollowtide Expedition

Hollowtide Expedition is a mood. You explore sunken ruins, piece together what happened to a lost crew, and solve environmental puzzles that never feel like busywork. The soundtrack does a lot of the emotional lifting and it's worth playing with headphones.

Movement is swipe-based and mostly smooth, though the camera occasionally got stuck on corners and I had to nudge it. Puzzles lean on observation rather than trial and error, so I rarely felt frustrated — more often I felt clever when something clicked.

Performance was solid on my mid-range phone and the battery held up better than I feared for a game this pretty. A good one for a quiet evening.
